02/09/06. CRAYFORD ARROWS PRE-SEASON 11-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

On the 2nd September 2006 Dartford JFC entered the Crayford Arrows 11-A-Side Tournament and in a repeat of last year, Dartford JFC won the tournament.

17/09/06. AWAY TO WATERLOO PRELIMINARY ROUND OF LONDON CUP

On 17th September 2006, Dartford JFC travelled away to meet Waterloo in the preliminary round of the London Cup.

In a hard fought match Dartford dominated the first half and thanks to Luke W who scored to put us up 1-0. Dartford should of gone in at half time 3-0 up.

In the second half Dartford continued to play the Dartford way, passing the ball. The match turned physical with a few flying challenges and a ref reluctant to take control.

Then it happened Waterloo managed a last minute equaliser. The match went to extra time and eventually to penalties. Dartford came out match winners.

A special mention to John for a outstanding performance.

 

17/09/06. AWAY TO FC ELMSTEAD - BEXLEY LEAGUE

On the 1st October 2006 Dartford JFC travelled to FC Elmstead. On a rainy windy day and a small pitch Dartford dominated the first half with their passing play, but did not manage to score in the first half.

In the second half Dartford to continued to play football and finally got the all important goal. Well done to our No.13 for scoring on his league debut for Dartford JFC. The score ended 1-0 to Dartford JFC. Also well done to Connor for looking after the goal and keeping a clean sheet.

 

08/10/06. HOME TO BEACON IFA - LONDON CUP ROUND 1

On Sunday 8th October 2006 Dartford JFC beat Beacons IFA 1-0 as they didn't turn up in time so we played in a friendly which dartford won 9-0.

We have no report for this as the goals couldn't be counted on the table.

 

15/10/06. HOME TO JUNIOR FALCONS - BEXLEY LEAGUE

On Sunday 15th October 2006 Dartford Jfc lost to Junior Falcons 4-3 in the Bexley League. Dartford started well and got used to the style of play that Junior Falcons played but on the counter attack Junior falcons scored 2 goals before half time.

Dartford came back out with a lovely nudge through the goalie from Sam which made it 2-1. Afterwards Josh scored a sreamer which had the game level but Junior Falcons scored straight after. With about 10 minutes to go they got another goal and they went mental. dartford tried their best but only got 1 goal from Luke w.

 

22/10/06. AWAY TO CRAYFORD ARROWS - BEXLEY LEAGUE

On sunday 22nd October 2006 Dartford Jfc lost to Caryford Arrows 4-2 in the Bexley League. In The first half Dartford didn't play very well and conceded 3 goals by half time.

Dartford came out at the second half ready for the match again. Dartford were on an attack Connor shot which was rebounded back to M who scored a great goal to make it 3-1. Crayford got another goal and Dartford fought back with a good goal by Connor which slipped through the goalies legs and trikled into the back of the net.

 

29/10/06. HOME TO WICKHAM PARK RANGERS - LONDON CUP ROUND 2

On Sunday 29nd October Dartford Jfc beat Wickham Park Rangers 7-0 in the London Fa cup. Dartford kicked off the game and started well with the ball in the oppostitions half most of the time. In the first half Dartford scored 4 goals which I couldn't remember who scored but i have it written down on the Squad Page.

In the second half Wickham had nothing to lose and they pushed up but Dartford's defence could handle it and set up themselves on counter attacks which lead to the other 3 goals in the half.

 

05/11/06. HOME TO ELTHAM TOWN - BEXLEY CUP ROUND 1

On sunday 5th November Dartford Jfc beat Eltham Town 9-0 in the Bexley cup. In the first half Dartford Jfc went 4-0 up with Luke W scoring 2,Tom scoring 1 and Connor scoring 1. Dartford had most of the posession in that half.

In the second half Luke W scored a goal,Josh scored 2 and Alex scored 2. This progresses them into the next stage of the cup.

 

 

12/11/06. HOME TO GLEBE JFC - BEXLEY LEAGUE

On Sunday 12th November Dartford Jfc beat Glebe Fc 4-2 in the Bexley League. The game started and Dartford knew they had to win the game. Dartford kicked off and suddenly off on a attack that was seen wide of the post. Dartford are on the attck and Luke W slots one past the goalie, evryone cheered for luke. The second goal came from a coner that came from Tom, 2 goals in two weeks keep it up Tom. The third goal in the half came from Taylor when George crossed the ball in and both Connor and Taylor flicked over and Taylor placed in the corner.

In the second half Dartford carried on their progress with a run from Taylor who ran down the wing and cut the ball in and layed off to Luke W who was taken down by the goalie in a dirty swipe of the legs. John-Boy executed the peanalty for a 4-0 lead. Glebe got back two goals but Dartford Jfc beat Glebe 4-2

 

 

Dartford JFC 0 - 2 Teviot Rangers
London Cup / 19th Nov 2006 / Teviot
 

On the 19th November 2006 Dartford Jfc lost against Teviot Rangers Jfc 2-0 in the London FA cup. It was the last 16 of the cup and both teams were up for it. Teviot kicked off looking strong but so were Dartford as they broke down Teviots first attack. From a goal kick Taylor had the ball at his feet and he layed in Josh to set the ball of down the wing to Luke W, Luke crossed it in and Connor nearly scored by narrowly shot wide. Teviot had a corner and undeservedly got a goal from it. Dartford went back at half time fighting for a goal but didn't

Second half Dartford kicked off and Sam was on a run he crossed it for connor who had the oppourtunity to lay it back to Taylor but instead had a shot that was saved. Late in the half Teviot got a penalty which they scored. With five minutes to go Dartford attaked well but couldn't get that goal they needed.

Dartford knocked out of the last 16.

On the 3rd of December 2006 Dartford jfc beat P.E.LO. 11-0. It was a match that was ment to be played at home but P.E.L.O. couldnt get a pitch so we played at North West Kent College. Dartford started well with a good kick off and winning the balls and off on a run Alex scored a great slotted goal. After that Luke W got 2 great goals which gave Dartford a boost. After that they scored another goal that came from Charlie.

In the second half dartford made 3 substitutions. And to start Connors confidance he got the first of his 6 from a lovely cross from John-Boy. During 10 minutes Connor got 4 goals and sealed the game but it wasn't over. P.e.l.o scored but that didnt stop dartford as Tom scored his 3rd of the season. Luke W was fouled in the area and Dartford were awarded a penalty which was saved from John-Boy's shot. Connor got 2 more but the last 1 everyone will remember as he volleyed it first time.
